Norway: Can internationalization increase diversity in language learning? Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) invites you to the conference "Diversity in Language Learning."
The conference will present various international projects of Norwegian participants working on topics relevant to the curriculum, and will also serve as a meeting place for anyone working with foreign languages in schools today, from the county and municipal level to school owners and teachers.
Contact with other countries through diverse the European projects can provide richer learning for both students and teachers, and direct contact with others has shown to generate interest and motivation in language learning.
The Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) hosts 14 November 2012 a conference on language learning and internationalization.
The speakers at the conference are working on various international projects on topics relevant to the curriculum. The conference will provide a forum for all who work with foreign language teaching in schools today, from the county and municipal level to school owners and teachers.
Among the projects to be presented are Marina project, which is about meetings between language and knowledge requirements in nine European countries.
Among the keynote speakers there will be lecturers from the Ministry of Foreign Languages Centre and the European Commission. It will also be presented a relevant project from EU programs for lifelong learning (LLP). The conference is organized in cooperation with the Foreign Language Center.
