The Digitalingua conference is launched with the intention of being a meeting place, a place of communication and international training event aimed at studying the relationships that occur between the new digital environment and the teaching and learning of languages. It also provides a platform for creating and transmitting content.
Objectives: - Provide a meeting place and exchange for the study of the relationships between technology and learning of foreign languages and cultures. - Address the current situation of teaching LE/L2 regarding the use and development of digital environments. Analyze opportunities and challenges - present and future. - Promote the use of ICT among teachers of languages such as LE and L2. - Promote the gathering of professionals and institutions involved in language teaching. - Improve the education of teachers teaching in the areas of language and the content required for their field. - Facilitate collective search for new teaching resources and methodological proposals that contribute to teaching and learning of languages. - Create and maintain a stable professional place for studies, exchange and dissemination of research, and provide the initial basis for the establishment of an International Observatory on digital environments and teaching and learning of foreign languages and cultures
