Norway: The Norwegian Language Council, Language Year 2013 and the Norwegian Translators Association will award the "Language-Gladness Award 2013" to a person who spread creatively language's joy and enthusiasm for creating different ways of expression.
The prize of NOK 15 000 (approximately 3000 USD) will be awarded for the first time on Saturday 2nd. March 2013, during the gala performance which ends the Translation Day 2013. It is possible to nominate candidates until 16th January.
Who deserves the "Language Gladness Award 2013"? The Language Gladness Award 2013 of 15 000 NOK (approximately 3000 USD) is a joint project between the Norwegian Language Council, Language Year 2013 and the Norwegian Association of Translators.
